Oat bran and rolled oats soak overnight in applesauce and unsweetened apple juice, softening into a thick, creamy porridge loaded with natural apple flavor.
Raisins plump up as they absorb the liquid, sliced almonds keep their crunch, and cinnamon ties the whole bowl together.
Eat it cold straight from the fridge, or microwave a serving for a couple of minutes when you want something warm.
Top with skim milk or a spoonful of yogurt and breakfast is handled.

- Use chunky applesauce for more texture. The little apple pieces scattered through the oats give each bite something to chew on.
- Give it the full overnight soak. The oat bran needs time to absorb liquid and turn creamy. A few hours won’t cut it.

To heat one serving, place ¾ cup cereal in a 2-cup microwavable bowl.
Microwave on HIGH 1 minute 30 secondsto 2 minutes or until heated through.
