Think of this as the original overnight oats, long before Instagram got hold of them.

Inspired by Swiss Bircher muesli, rolled oats soak overnight in vanilla yogurt and crushed pineapple until they turn creamy and soft.

Sliced almonds add crunch, and layers of fresh strawberries bring color and brightness to every spoonful.

Prep takes about 10 minutes, there’s zero cooking involved, and the mixture keeps in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Perfect for busy mornings when you want something wholesome waiting for you.

Kitchen Tips

  • Use thick yogurt like Greek-style for a richer, creamier texture. Thinner yogurt will make the oats a bit soupy.
  • Make it ahead in individual jars for a grab-and-go breakfast that lasts all week.
  • Add the strawberries just before serving so they stay bright and juicy rather than turning soft overnight.
