Dill Parsley Bread
Submitted by Jolene
A fragrant bread machine loaf with dried dill and parsley, olive oil, and powdered milk for a soft crumb. Just load the ingredients and let the machine do the work. Incredible toasted with butter.

40 minBread machine baking doesn’t get simpler than this.
Load up the pan with flour, olive oil, dried dill, dried parsley, powdered milk, and yeast, press start, and walk away.
What comes out is a soft, herb-flecked loaf that smells like a garden and tastes even better sliced thick and toasted with a generous smear of butter.
Pro Tips
- Add ingredients in the order your bread machine manual recommends; most call for liquids first, then dry, with yeast on top
- Use dried herbs here, not fresh, since the bread machine’s long cycle can turn fresh herbs bitter
- This loaf makes outstanding sandwich bread, especially with turkey, cream cheese, or smoked salmon
