Five ingredients and zero fuss: angel hair pasta tossed with canned tomatoes, diced ham or pepperoni, and a mountain of melted mozzarella. This is the weeknight dinner that gets a 5-star rating from the whole family.

Some nights you need a recipe that asks almost nothing of you. This is that recipe.

Boil angel hair pasta. Drain. Toss with pasta-ready canned tomatoes, diced ham (or pepperoni if you’re feeling it), a touch of margarine, and two cups of shredded mozzarella that melts into every strand.

That’s it. The whole thing. No simmering sauce, no chopping, no waiting.

It’s the kind of dinner that kids demolish without a single complaint and adults secretly enjoy just as much.

Kitchen Tips

  • Toss the hot drained pasta with the cheese and margarine first. The heat melts everything into a gooey, clingy sauce.
  • Use pepperoni instead of ham for a spicier, more pizza-like vibe the kids will go wild for.
  • “Pasta ready” canned tomatoes are pre-seasoned with herbs and garlic. If you can’t find them, use regular diced tomatoes with a pinch of Italian seasoning.
