What is cake flour? The other day I ran out of cake flour and needed a substitute, after searching and experimenting I came up with this replacement for cake flour that seems to work quite well.
I guess I will have to ditch the craft dinner, because this mac and cheese was actually so easy to make, and it was so much better than those boxed stuff. No comparison.
A great Autumn favorite, with a bit of added "zing". NOTE: May be covered loosely with plastic wrap and done in microwave (on high about 6 minutes) and then remove plastic wrap and put apples under preheated broiler for about 2 minutes.
