30 minThis is what happens when leftover roast beef gets a second act it actually deserves. Diced cooked beef meets a glossy, sweet-spicy sauce made from orange marmalade, beef bouillon, ginger, and a dash of hot sauce, all thickened with cornstarch until it clings to every piece.
Carrots, green onions, and bell pepper add crunch and color to the skillet.
Spoon it over hot rice, garnish with fresh orange segments, and you’ve got a weeknight stir-fry that looks and tastes like you ordered takeout from somewhere good.
Kitchen Tips
- Using cooked beef means this comes together in 30 minutes flat. Leftover roast, steak, or even deli beef all work.
- Stir-fry the vegetables first until crisp-tender, then add the beef. You’re just reheating the meat, not cooking it from raw.
- Mix the cornstarch into the cold bouillon mixture before adding it to the hot skillet. This prevents lumps and gives you a smooth, glossy sauce.
