Sour Milk Corn Bread

A basic yet tasty corn bread is easy to make, and it goes well with any kind of chili, stew or roast.

Directions
Sift together dry ingredients.
Add eggs to milk and stir into dry ingredients.
Add melted fat. Pour into greased pan 8 inch square.
Bake at 425 degrees F. for 20 to 30 min.

I would not make these again. I have tasted cornbread that was moist and flavourful. This does not come remotely close.
Hi Judy, I just read the recipe, and I think this is a very basic corn bread that's served with chili, stew or roast. Unlike the moist one that always has a lot more fat (butter and/or cheese) and other flavor busting ingredients, such as jalapeno.
I posted two cornbread recipes (see link above), these two recipes that we made last year are both super moist and flavorful. Hope you will like them.
