This spinach spread is one of those party recipes that takes almost no effort but disappears from the table first. Ranch-flavored cheddar cheese spread forms the creamy base, thawed spinach adds color and earthy flavor, and crumbled bacon brings the salty, smoky crunch everyone gravitates toward.

Water chestnuts are the surprise here. They stay crisp even after mixing and chilling, giving every bite a snap that keeps the texture from going one-note. It’s a small addition that makes a real difference.

Chef Tips
