Oatmeal in three minutes flat, with a crunchy twist you didn’t know you needed.

Quick oats and Grape-Nuts cereal cook together in milk in the microwave, giving you a bowl that’s creamy and crunchy at the same time. Raisins plump up in the hot milk while brown sugar and cinnamon sweeten and spice things up.

It serves two right out of one bowl. Mornings don’t get simpler than this.

Variations

  • Swap raisins for dried cranberries or chopped dates for a different fruit flavor.
  • Use maple syrup or honey instead of brown sugar for a different kind of sweetness.
  • Top with sliced banana, chopped walnuts, or a drizzle of cream for a heartier bowl.
