1 hrsIf you need a homemade candy that looks like you spent all afternoon in the kitchen but actually took ten minutes of real effort, these are it.
Marshmallows, chocolate chips, and butter get melted together in the microwave until glossy and smooth, then stirred with toasted pecan halves and a splash of vanilla.
Drop them onto wax paper, pop them in the fridge, and you’ve got clusters with that satisfying snap of chocolate giving way to crunchy pecans and sticky-sweet marshmallow.
They’re the kind of treat that vanishes from holiday cookie trays first.
Kitchen Tips
- Stir every 30 seconds in the microwave to prevent the chocolate from seizing
- Toast pecan halves in a dry skillet for 3 minutes before adding them for a nuttier, more intense flavor
- Use real butter instead of margarine for a richer taste and better snap when chilled
- Package these in cellophane bags tied with ribbon for quick homemade gifts

Directions

- Stir in pecans and vanilla. Drop mixture, with 3 pecan halves per cluster, onto waxed paper-lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate uncovered about 30 minutes or until firm.
