Bisquick Butterscotch Brownies
Submitted by greenwaterdivers
Chewy butterscotch brownies made with Bisquick, brown sugar, pecans, and coconut. Everything gets mixed in one bowl and baked until golden. The laziest route to a pan of seriously good blondies.

1 hrsThese are the brownies you make when you want something rich and chewy but can’t be bothered with a long ingredient list.
Bisquick does the heavy lifting here, mixed with a full box of brown sugar for that deep, caramel-like butterscotch flavor.
Coconut and chopped pecans add texture and crunch in every bite, and vanilla rounds out the sweetness.
One bowl, no mixer, no sifting. Just stir it all together, pour into a 9×13 pan, and let the oven do its thing.
Cut them while they’re still warm for chewy, gooey squares. Let them cool completely if you prefer a firmer, fudgier bar.
Kitchen Tips
- Melt the butter before mixing it in so everything incorporates smoothly without lumps.
- A full box of brown sugar sounds like a lot, and it is. That’s what gives these their sticky, toffee-like chew.
- Toast the pecans before adding them for a deeper, nuttier flavor.
- These keep well in a covered container for several days, if they last that long.
