When you need warm muffins fast, Bisquick delivers: no fussy creaming or complex steps, just stir and bake.

Fresh or frozen blueberries fold gently into the batter, leaving purple streaks and jammy pockets throughout.

Pull them from the oven when tops turn golden and your kitchen smells like a bakery.

Kitchen Tips

  • Frozen works too: No need to thaw frozen blueberries; they work just as well as fresh
  • Don’t overmix: Stir just until dry ingredients disappear; lumpy batter makes tender muffins
  • Grease carefully: Oil only muffin cup bottoms to allow muffins to climb sides and dome nicely
  • Test for doneness: Insert toothpick in center; it should come out with just a few moist crumbs

Variations

  • Add ½ teaspoon vanilla extract for deeper flavor
  • Sprinkle tops with coarse sugar before baking for crunchy crowns
  • Try raspberries, blackberries, or chopped strawberries instead of blueberries

You can certainly use frozen blueberries. Just increase the baking time for 5 more minutes or until a wooden skewer inserted into center comes out clean. Hope this helps!
